The building on Marata 12 was widely known even before the Revolution, when it was occupied by a pioneer of russian cinema, Mr. Abraham Drankov, - a millionaire and one of the brightest representatives of a royal elite. His every rout was always accompanied by an astonishing gloss, which could be easily compared with the European capitals's.

Built in 1855, this historic building in the heart of St. Petersburg is now home to a modern hotel, offering classic-style rooms with flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi. Nevsky Prospect is 200 metres away.
